THE PROPOSAL

It's official, I will no longer be blogging about "bad dating" stories,

and I am no longer worried about jinxing myself.

My feeling was right on! We will be in each other's lives

for time and all eternity.

Brian and I knew very early on in dating that we really liked

each other and could see heading towards marriage.

4 months and 2 days after our first date

Brian surprised me at Temple Square on

December 28, 2012 and asked me to marry him.

I had been trying for a few weeks to get out of him when he

would propose and all he would give me was that it would happen

in 2011. So with big holidays coming up I figured it could have been on

my birthday, Christmas or New Years Eve?

When Birthday and Christmas came and went without a proposal or ring

I figured it had to be New Years Eve then. So I would bring it up to

him to see what he would say and he played along with me letting

me think it was going to be New Years, and to please be

surprised even though I had figured it out. Ha ha the joke was on me!!

We went to Temple square to see the lights and dinner.

To my surprise he actually proposed by the temple and I said

yes of course. Here are some pictures that Becky (Brian's
