HAWAII 10/23

Today's Travels: Pearl Harbor Arizona Memorial, lunch,
Shopping for Groceries and Souvenirs, and Waikiki Beach

Mom and Dad's view from the hotel...At least there is
a flower etched in the glass. :)

On our way to Pearl Harbor to get tickets. And we came
across Salt Lake BLVD just before Pearl Harbor

Me and LaDessa out front of the new visitor center
for the Arizona Memorial

The boat we rode out to the Arizona Memorial

The entrance of the Arizona Memorial taken
from sitting on the boat waiting to get off.

Part of the ship that is above water

The USS Missouri that is now at Pearl Harbor for good as a Memorial.
The round ball in the bottom right corner is where the Arizona ends.
They put ball there so you know how long the ship ends.

The wall inside of the Arizona Memorial with the names of
all who died on the ship that day. Those who survived that
day and have passed away since have had their names added
to a small portion in front of this wall. Many who have passed
away since have been cremated and special divers take the
remains of those persons and insert them into the Arizona
through a small opening in the ship, so that they may be at
restwith their shipmates.

The 3 of us on the Arizona

Picture 100 of mom being mad about her picture being taken

The usual, trying to avoid the camera

We started getting sneaky and this is what I got of her
Waiting for the video documentary of Pearl Harbor.
Oh the look of I'm in trouble...

Outside of the Aqua Bamboo and Spa Hotel in Honolulu.
We stayed here for 4 nights and it was only 2 blocks from
Waikiki beach and many shops.

Mom coming out of the Hotel to go for a walk to the beach
and do some shopping on the way.
