My Afghan

My mom taught me how to crochet when I was younger and my work wasn't so good. My cousin Alyson inspired me while we were in college to try again and I have improved. I've been able to make afghans for 4 of my six nieces and nephews and a few of my friends babies. I bought yarn for my own afghan awhile ago and have never found time or the perfect pattern.... Until I visited Idaho this July for the Twin Falls Temple Open House. Mom, Aunt MaryAnn and I went to Walmart at 11:30 at night in search of "Peaches and Creme" Yarn for Knitting. Of which my mom is highly addicted to and banned from buying cause she now has plenty. I found a pattern book of 64 stitches so that each square is different. Here are the first four of my Afghan! I'll try and post the finished project, lets hope it doesn't take me more than five years to finish.
